Geoduck Demonstration and Chowder Date with Xinh at OysterFest

Chef Xinh Dwelley is the unchallenged Queen of Geoduck and who better to demonstrate the prepping and cleaning of this amazing bivalve than her! The volunteers at OysterFest 2022 (Yes, it’s back!) are honored that Xinh Dwelley, the honorary 2022 OysterFest GOO (Grand Old Oyster) and Bob Miller — the official OysterFest GOO… will demonstrating how to clean GOO-E-Duck on the Shucking stage at 11:30! Afterwards enjoy some fresh and free geoduck sashimi and head over to the Bistro Tent for steaming bowl of Xinh’s Geoduck Chowder.

A limited number (approx 250) bowls of Geoduck Chowder will be available for purchase ($15) will be available from 12 noon.

Enjoy a great show, learn a lot about this amazing bivalve and fill up on the delicious chowder as you visit with Xinh. Her latest cookbook will be available for purchase or bring your copy for signing during the Meet & Greet!
